Symptomatic Treatment With Anthelmintics

The clinical application of anthelmintics is mainly used in the following aspects.

Ascariasis

Among the 524 cases and 4616 cases of ascariasis treated by Chuanmeisu, the average excretion rates were 74.31 and 80 percent , respectively. The neem root bark syrup was used to treat 1348 cases of ascariasis. It is believed that the deworming rate is high, the usage is simple, there is no contraindication, and it can be widely used. Potassium junicate can repel human roundworms remarkably. It also has a higher anthelmintic effect when no laxatives are taken in larger doses. The effect of fresh and roasted junzi kernels is similar. The leaves of junzi also contain potassium junzi, a preparation made from the leaves, which has been clinically verified in more than 1,000 cases, and it also has the effect of repelling roundworms with small side effects. The combined application of Junzi and Stemona has better curative effect on human pinworms, and single use of Junzi and Stemona is also effective for the treatment of enterobiasis.

Taeniasis

Betel nut has a better effect on pork tapeworm. The effect on beef tapeworm is poor, so it must be used in combination with pumpkin seeds to make the whole insect paralyzed and easy to be excreted from the body. The combined decoction of betel nut, pumpkin seeds and pomegranate peel treats tapeworm disease, which can paralyze or kill the tapeworm muscles so that they cannot be fixed to the intestinal wall and be discharged. Pumpkin seeds combined with betel nut, black or white powder (becave powder) can achieve better curative effect on tapeworm disease.

Hookworm disease

The betel nut decoction treats duodenal hookworm disease. The effect on hookworms is related to the dosage and the number of stools. The effect of taking laxatives for more stools is good.

Whipworm

The betel nut decoction treated patients with whipworm disease, the symptoms disappeared, and no eggs were found after one month. The combination of betel nut, capsicum seed and michoning cures ginger worm disease and hookworm disease, and the effect is satisfactory.
